DUMMY FRUIT TRAPS
Dummy fruit trap and lure are effective at reducing the apple maggot damage. Flies are attracted by the lure and trapped to the sticky field of the juicy looking apple sphere. Apple maggots are smaller than the house fly and they attack apples, blueberries, hawthorn, plums, pears and cherries. Most fruit flies lay eggs on the fruit during late spring to early summer.
